Description

Take a sneak peek….

Smith was right. The little prick deserved what was coming.

Inside the cell the earthiness of the concrete enclosure mixed with the pent up anger of the kid. The light was dim and the darkness that had dropped suddenly like a flicked light switch pitched itself against the gloam of the room.

He had been here for two nights now; the little shit. His muffled curses and pathetic little outbursts resounding through the cell block and into the front office where Will attended to his menial junior officer duties. Wet behind the ears, Smith had taken him under his wing and Will, with the gravity of an inductee into some secret society, had become the older man’s sidekick.
